Available Puppies to Guardian Homes

Venus

Venus - Wavy Coated Multigen Cockapoo
Meet Venus! She is a gorgeous Red Parti with a mostly white body and just a touch of red on her face. Venus is a total doll who loves playtime! Her parents are two beautiful cockapoos from an out-of-state Cockapoo breeder. We first met her at almost 4 months old and we have really enjoyed watching her grow up! She is 8 months old and 15 lbs, so she probably will only gain a couple more pounds at her fullgrown weight. She would be good with children. Venus is great with a doggie door but has not fully mastered housetraining without it.

Jade - Wavy Coated F1 Puppy
Jade is a wonderful girl who would do good in any home. Her parents are our Jenny and Kado, so we expect her to be around 20 lbs full grown. She is a friendly girl who loves kids, dogs, and cats. Loves to sit with you on the couch and sleep in bed with you. She also likes to go on car rides for treats! She is fully vaccinated and is 5 months old. She is doing well with housetraining but as she's still a puppy she's not fully housetrained. She does well with dog doors.

What is a Guardian Home?

A guardian home is a permanent, loving, forever home for a dog in our breeding program. This allows them to stay with one family and receive all the love and attention of a one-on-one pet! Being a guardian home means that you get a wonderful companion while they're still a part of our breeding program.

Does it cost anything to be a Guardian family?
There is no cost for the puppy or dog, but you are responsible for the normal costs of dog ownership such as daily care, grooming, heartworm and flea preventative, vet visits, etc.

Benefits to being a Guardian Family:
Your family will be receiving a pick of the litter puppy chosen by the breeder.
Spay/neutering paid for by Breeder when breeding agreement is completed. Typically they are retired from breeding at 5 years old.
Guardian families can schedule trips during breedings/whelpings without worry or cost of kenneling their pets. Breeder can also provide boarding.
Males stay with their Guardian families and are only brought to the females to breed.

What families make the “ideal” Guardian home?
You must be willing to feed premium quality food and follow basic health care, veterinarian care, such as maintaining vaccine schedules as well as take the puppy to at least one 6 week obedience training course.

The primary care giver must not have a schedule that will cause the dog to be left home alone for long periods of time on a regular basis. This is “ideal” and exceptions are made on a case by case basis.

No other intact dogs should ever be on the premises to prevent unwanted mating.

We may do a home visit and require you live within 3 hrs of Wharton TX.

Must have a fenced in yard and own your own home. An invisible fence is suitable for males but females must have a physical fence. Again, this is “ideal” and exceptions are made on a case by case basis.

The puppy must be raised indoors and never left outside unattended.

If you have a female, she would be left with us for around 1 week when she is in heat, return to you for her pregnancy, and then come back to us for around 9 weeks when she has a litter. Please make sure you are emotionally prepared to leave her with us for this period of time before agreeing to become a guardian home! If you feel your children or other pets would be too attached to have them leave for that long then a guardian home may not be a good fit.

When the female is in season, the Guardian family is required to contact us immediately so that arrangements can be made for breeding. We ask that Guardian families keep us updated on the puppy which would include photos every 3 months so that we may keep our website updated.

You must be willing to bring or meet us for the health testing appointments paid for by us.

If this is something you! and your family would like to be considered for, please fill out our application.

What We Do:

Checkups & Vaccinations

Puppies visit our vet for their first puppy vaccines and a complete checkup.

Natural Tails

We don't dock our puppy's tails so they'll come to you as little tail waggers!

Beginning of House Training

Your puppy will already know how to use a doggie door and go potty on grass.

Puppy Visits

You can come pick your puppy out in person-it's worth the roadtrip.
